Four hundred and nineteen pages and this book keeps you reading and guessing all the way through. Written by Siri L. Mitchell, Château of Echoes is a well written piece of art.
To sum it up, the book is about Frederique Farmer who after losing her husband decides to buy a castle in France. Frederique thought by purchasing the castle she would be able to live a quiet and reclusive life. However, after restoring the castle she decided to turn it into a bed and breakfast. The restoration project revealed that her new home had quite an extensive past.
Frederique hires Severine, a graduate student to help her run the inn. Then, Frederique has a unique guest join her for an extended stay at the inn. Frederique cooks for him and spends a lot of her extra time with him. Their relationship grows as Severine grows more and more strange by the day.
You will enjoy this wonderful novel filled with suspense, romance, God's healing and great cooking.
