Well, in May 2009, the long wait will be over!

- There will also be a Save the Day Talking Super Why that will say eight of Super Why's favorite phrases when its tummy is squeezed.
As of April, Learning Curve is planning to release a Style & Sing Princess Presto doll in fall 2009. She will say and sing nine of Princess Presto's favorite songs, have a belt that will light up when pressed, and come with a hair brush, barrettes, jeweled crown, cape, magic spelling wand, and detachable dress. (NOTE: As of late April, it appears that this doll will not be releasing in 2009.)
Super WHY Vehicles

- The Wave & Learn Magic Spelling wand is an electronic learning toy shaped like Princess Presto's Magic Spelling Wand. It can also be used for imaginative open-ended role play or in games in three kinds of interactive learning modes that will teach letter sounds, spelling, problem-solving, and following directions.

I am so happy to find these Super Why toys!!! I am a 1st time mommy to a wonderful little boy who will be 1 year old this May 29th. He has loved the Super Why show since he was only about 4 months old. I know it's hard to believe, but he responded to it so well early on. We are pleased that this show is on the air & even more pleased to find these toys being released. I have already placed a pre-order with Toys R Us for almost all of the toys and hopefully they will be here before his b-day at the end of the month. He will be Super Surprised! Seriously, you should see how well this little boy responds to this show at such an early age, its amazing & all our family & friends are in awe. If he's asleep & hears the theme music, he will wake in a split second. It's so funny. And he jumps & dances to the music. I highly recommend the series to all my friends with children. We love it and love that it is so education for him. He really seems to be learning fundamentals from the show, and we are excited about that! This show has certainly opened up his world of alphabet singing & problem solving. I just can't wait for him to get all the new toys too. He's going to be so thrilled! I know I have found him the best 1st b-day presents now! Thank you to Learning Curve & the Super Why creators!!!
I saw these toys at the store and they are very cute, but I am super annoyed at the marketing. The Whyatt and Alpha Pig toys are "action figures," yet the exact same dolls in Princess Pea and Wonder Red are sold with hairbrushes as "pose and style dolls." Come on. I mean, really? All the toys have the same accessories, less the hairbrushes for the boy characters. I'm not calling for perfect equality NOW! but this is ridiculous. I'm very, very disappointed that all the characters weren't marketed as action figures, or some sort of other descriptor that didn't show such extreme, outdated bias. I get boys don't want to play with dolls. But haven't people figured out girls like action figures, too? Even the ones that come with hairbrushes?
Will you guys br bringing the Singing Alpha Pig...I want to get that fpr my daughter and i have no place to find it!
