On July 1, 2009, the new exclusive Grand Carousel LEGO® set became available at the LEGO Stores, through the LEGO Catalog, and online at the LEGO® Web site.
About the Grand Carousel LEGO® set
Retailing for $249.99 and aimed at LEGO® builders ages 16 and up, this is a set for a serious LEGO® collector. That said, small children at the Brickworld 2009 LEGO® fan event in Wheeling were mesmerized by the built Grand Carousel model on display.
Why did kids like this incredibly detailed LEGO® set so much? Batteries and a LEGO Power Functions motor and sound brick allow the carousel to rotate and play music while the horses and other carousel figures move up and down.
This exclusive LEGO® Grand Carousel set measures 15.1" tall and comes with 9 minifigures.

Other LEGO exclusives
The LEGO stores and particularly the online LEGO® Web site specialize in making available to LEGO® fans a number of exciting exclusive LEGO® sets.
Another LEGO® exclusive set on display at Brickworld 2009 was the Medieval Market Village, made up of two detailed buildings and a variety of rare themed medieval LEGO® pieces not easily found in other sets.
LEGO® builders looking for a challenge or searching for unique pieces to add to their collection may be interested in one or both of these sets.
