All Chicago families are invited to the Disney Store Princess and the Frog Window Unveiling and Holiday Celebration at the flagship Disney Store on Michigan Avenue on Friday, November 20, 2009, at 4:30 p.m. At this free VIP event, Chicago Disney fans will get to see the new Princess and the Frog window display light up this portion of the Magnificent Mile two weeks before other Disney Store locations across the nation unveil their own Princess Tiana displays.

Princess and the Frog Window Display

Designed by Disney's creative team to capture the magic of the newest Disney animated princess movie, this unique themed Disney Store Princess and the Frog window display will aim to reflect the film's beautiful and mysterious New Orleans bayou locations and the fun and loveliness of Disney's newest princess, Princess Tiana. This themed window will be lit with special lights as part of Chicago's Magnificent Mile Festival of Lights.

Guests at this special Princess and the Frog window unveiling event will have a chance to watch a sneak peek of footage from The Princess and the Frog that has not been released previously, witness Disney Store president Jim Fielding unveil this themed window for the first time, and get to meet Chicago dignitaries and a special celebrity guest.

Inside the store, visitors can shop for the new Princess Tiana merchandise, including dolls, plush, household accessories like dishes and utensils, children's clothing and sleepwear, role-play costumes, books, toys, collectibles like sculpted bookends and snowglobes, and a Magical Beauty Collection from Carol's Daughter. Parents can also check out the top Disney toys for girls, top Disney toys for boys, and top Disney toys for preschoolers.
