American Girl Place Chicago programs and special events for February 2012

Local parents and visiting tourist families looking for fun activities for kids can attend American Girl Place Chicago programs and special events during February 2012. Activities planned include scavenger hunts, free crafts, and a celebration for the new American Girl of the Year.

While visiting the American Girl Place Store this month, girls may want to check out the brand-new toys, books, and accessories for McKenna, the newly introduced Girl of the Year for 2012, which will only be sold during this coming year. Children may also want to shop for toys and books relating to Cécile and Marie-Grace, the two new historical characters introduced to the American Girl line this past fall.

Because space is limited at many of the events, interested families should call 1-877-AG-PLACE (1-877-247-5223) ahead of time to save a place at those events for which reservations are required.
