Sesame Street launches free eBooks

Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit organization that produces the beloved classic children's television show Sesame Street, is launching its first eBook collection starting today. The program will be aimed at attracting readers 2 to 6 years old along with their parents.

The first selection of eBooks include some of the favorite and well loved titles that Sesame Street is known for.  One of those is the all time best seller 'The Monster at the End of this Book' in eBook form. It is also offered in audio book format for your children to listen to and read along with Grover.

Starting in January they will be adding titles monthly from their nearly 5,000 books. Readers will be able to pick out individual titles or purchase an annual subscription where they will gain access to the books and start their own virtual bookshelf.

Sesame Workshop will also continue to offer a small selection of free eBooks with titles rotating once a week.

The Sesame Street eBook collection can be found at http://www.sesamestreet.org/ebooks/

Wow, that is awesome. I wish my son was old enough for them, because he is obsessed with sesame street. But I'll let my friend know, who has a 4-year old that might be up for it!
