Did you know that toys have their very own hall of fame?
The National Toy Hall of Fame is located in the Strong National Museum of Play, in Rochester, New York. It was moved there in 2002 after outgrowing its original home, A. C. Gilbert's Discovery Village in Salem, Oregon. Since 1998, The National Toy Hall of Fame has been nominating toys and games using specific criteria, such as icon-status and longevity.
To date there has been forty four inductees including 2009's induction of the Big Wheel®, Game Boy® and the ball.
