Do you have a budding lyricist or poet in the family, or know of a teacher who might be looking for an entertaining class project?
The GRAMMY Award winning duo, Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer, are inviting children everywhere to add new verses to their hit song “Jubilation,” which is featured on their latest CD release Banjo to Beatbox.
“Jubilation” is an open-ended song that encourages inventive rhymes and it is one of the most requested pieces from this new EP.
The rules for this contest are simple and can be found on Cathy and Marcy’s blog along with the entry form that requires parental permission.
Children submit their lyrics, and Cathy and Marcy will select the top five entries to record and feature on their blog and website. Those winners will also receive a Cathy & Marcy CD of their choice from their extensive discography.
