Johnny Depp stars in Disney's Alice in Wonderland

Overnight, a new visually stunning trailer debuted from Walt Disney Pictures for their much-anticipated upcoming March 5, 2010 motion picture release of, Alice in Wonderland.
The epic 3-D fantasy adventure, which has not yet been given an official rating by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) brings together once again the talents of visionary director, Tim Burton, and actor, Johnny Depp, who in the past as a team have created and interpreted such extraordinary and unusual films as the 1990 hit, Edward Scissorhands.
Depp takes on the role of the charismatic “Mad Hatter” in Linda Woolverton’s screenplay, which is based on Lewis Carroll’s beloved classic children’s novels, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, published in 1865 and Through the Looking Glass, which followed in 1871, and continues to delight new generations each year.
This avant garde interpretation of Alice in Wonderland also brings together an all-star cast that includes Anne Hathaway (the “White Queen”), Helena Bonham Carter (the “Red Queen”), Crispin Glover (the “Knave of Hearts”) and, Mia Wasikowska, as 19-year-old “Alice,” who returns to a whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl, and finds her true destiny - to end the Red Queen’s reign of terror.
Along the way, Alice will be reunited with all of her childhood friends, “White Rabbit,” “Tweedledee and Tweedledum,” the “Dormouse,” the “Caterpillar,” the “Cheshire Cat,” and of course, the “Mad Hatter.”
