Just in time for the start of the holiday season, which is filled with children's and family entertainment television specials, Pixar’s superhero hit,  The Incredibles, airs Saturday, November 28, 2009, at 8:30 p.m. Eastern time / 7:30 p.m. Central, with a rebroadcast on Saturday, December 5 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern / 7:00 p.m. Central on the NBC-TV  network’s “Movie of the Week.”

The story of The Incredibles revolves around a family of superheroes who live quietly and undercover in suburbia, but are compelled to exchange their everyday peaceful existence and utilize their superpowers when called upon to save the world.

The film was an international box office success, garnering significant industry and media recognition as well as awards, including two Oscars in 2005 for Best Animated Feature Film of the Year and Best Achievement in Sound Editing.

The Incredibles features the voices of such notable stars as Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Samuel L. Jackson, and Jason Lee and is rated PG (Parental Guidance suggested) for adult language, adult situations and mild violence.
