Where to buy craft supplies in southern Illinois

Whether you are crafting with kids or just crafting as a hobby for yourself, one thing you always need is supplies. Where can you find supplies for your craft projects in the southern Illinois area?

Most of the local Wal-Mart stores have at least a few craft supplies, but for the best choices and variety, I have found that a trip to Carbondale is usually the best option. Carbondale has Jo-Ann Fabrics and Hobby Lobby. You can sign up online for a mailer from Jo-Ann's which usually includes great coupons and if you check the Sunday Southern Illinoisan newspaper, there are usually Hobby Lobby coupons printed in the paper.

In Marion, Stevens Floral Gifts and Framing also carries some craft supplies. Quite often though, I find a great selection of very inexpensive craft supplies at local dollar stores like the Dollar Tree in Marion, Carbondale, West Frankfort and Harrisburg.
