It's not easy being green, but on St. Patrick's Day it's certainly easier than other days! While southern Illinois towns generally don't make a big deal about this special day in March, no matter where you live you can make it fun with the kids.
Here are a few links for St. Patrick's Day crafts and activities.
First, a green scavenger hunt is an easy activity to do with all ages. You can read about how to do some fun hunts in Green Scavenger Hunt Ideas for St. Patrick's Day.
One of my favorite websites for quick and easy crafts is DLTK-kids. This site has coloring pages, quick crafts, puzzles and other printables. Be sure to check out everything this site has to offer - including great crafts with old toilet paper tubes. Gotta love that!
Kaboose.com has some awesome crafts, activities, lessons and even leprechauns for St. Patrick's Day. Check it out!
Whatever you decide to do with the kids, have a great time and don't forget to wear green!
