An imaginative story of a dog that flies and how he deals with the unbelief of others.
An imaginative story of a dog that flies and how he deals with the unbelief of others.
Mez Alborough

Some Dogs Do by Jez Alborough is a charming story of a small dog and his trials of getting others to believe an almost impossible feat. On his way to school one day Sid is feeling so happy that he floats. When he arrives at school the other doges and his teacher don’t believe his story of flying. Sid’s teacher remarks, "All dogs walk and jump and run, but dogs don't fly-it can't be done."

In Some Dogs Do the rhyming words along with the colorful pictures help children of all ages learn the lesion of positive thinking. Not only will this children’s book entertain time after time it is a wonderful way to help children who may be facing new situations in their lives or need a bust of self-esteem.

Some Dogs Do has won several awards including 'Baby Book of the Month' from Baby & You Magazine, Beehive Book Award from Children’s Literature Association of Utah, and Star Winner from Norfolk Libraries.

Those are wonderful awards that the author has won. I also like that you included a list of libraries where the book can be found. I love the illustration on the cover of the book and the author's idea that 'the IMPOSSIBLE can be POSSIBLE!'.
