Mud by Mary Ray is a darling book for reading level ages 4 to 8. A great way to celebrate spring the books rhyming story coupled with the brilliant illustrations thrills children as the reader is taking from a child’s view through the ‘fun’ of mud with the ground thawing and the toddler discovering the joy of "gooey, gloppy, mucky, magnificent mud." From yellow boots, to red socks to muddy toes this is a fun book to share with little ones.

Silly Little Goose by Nancy Tafuri is a great book for 1-6 year-olds. Little Goose is in search of a spot to build her nest but no matter where she goes on the farm another farm animal has already claimed that spot has theirs. Little Goose is a great story to help children see not only the dilemmas others sometimes endure but help to instill the importance of persistence and determination. She does eventually find a spot for her nest in an unlikely place.

My Little Noisy Book of Ducklings by Roger Priddy is a magnetic learning book recommended for ages 1 to 3. I have to admit I have not read this book but look forward to the story time and being introduced to a new book on my reading list.

“My Grownup and Me Storytime” is a great time for parents and children to enjoy reading time and helps to instill a love of learning in children.

These sounds wonderful. I can't wait until my granddaughter is old enough for me to read to.

The Barnes and Noble events are excellent - Clifford is a favorite with my children. They even won a gift at the Thomas the Train one.
