“I Love Our Earth” by Bill Martin, Jr., Michael Sampson, and Dan Lipow combines simple poetry with spectacular photography. “I Love Our Earth” is a wonderful children’s book to introduce young children to not only the variety of natural places on earth but also the variety of people who live here.
Each page of “I Love Our Earth” has the photograph of children of different ethnic groups, a panoramic view of nature, and a line of poetry. The book is recommended for ages four to eight years old but even adults will enjoy the photography of oceans, mountains, sky and color ranges from winter snow to colorful autumn leaves. The brilliant colors draw the attention of younger children also.
