‘Gardening with Children Brooklyn Botanic Garden All-Region Guide’ is the best of the best books to start children gardening but there is no surprise as it is published by the Brooklyn Botanic Garden where you will find the oldest operating children’s garden in North America. ‘Gardening with Children’ is an excellent handbook for parents, teachers and community gardeners around the world.
‘Gardening with Children’ contains over 40 projects for children to learn not only the basics of gardening but the cycle of nature, and to become more aware of the eco system and the importance of plants in our lives. For young gardeners living on farms in the country or in sky-rise apartment buildings this children’s book will open the doors to many opportunities for children to become gardeners.
The simple but brightly colored illustrations hold the attention of even the youngest children and the information provided in ‘Gardening with Children’ offers hours of learning and entertainment for older children and adults new to the world of gardening.

Wow, I haven't been to that place in years! This sounds like a great book to read and for those like me close enough the Gardens is a great place to visit.
Looks like a great resource on a rainy day~ 40 different projects. That would keep parents/kids busy! Looks like there are also very good illustrations.
This sounds like a great resource. I don't know if I've ever been to a children's garden. Now I want to see one.
