Children's Book Trees by Angels Julivert

Trees” by Angels Julivert is a children’s book geared towards older children age’s eight to twelve. “Trees” is formatted as field guide to help children identify trees. The book includes not only pictures of trees but shows how to identify trees by their shape, bark, leaves, flowers, and the fruit they bare.

The colorful photographs, clear drawings along with simple text make Trees a great book to start children on a mission to learn more about nature, their surroundings, and spark an interest to learning more. There is also a section at the back of tools or materials the children will need or want to help on their journey of discovering trees.

You can find “Trees” by Angels Julivert at the Okemos and South Lansing branches of the Capital Area District Library (see right panel for links to locations) and at both Barnes & Noble and Schuler’s Books.
