“Arthur's Underwear” by Marc Brown is part of the “Arthur Adventure Series”. If you are looking for a humorous children’s book that can also teach children about the results of making fun of others “Arthur's Underwear” is an excellent choice.
Arthur thinks it is funny when a classmate rips his pants and his underwear are visible to everyone. It’s not so funny when Arthur starts having nightmares about being seen in public in his underwear. The dreams don’t stop until he finds himself in the same position as Binky and his own pants get ripped in front of everyone.
The cartoon illustrations are clear and colorful and young children get great laughs until asked the question, “How would you feel if you were Binky?” My own grandchildren decided it’s not a good idea to make fun of other people because the same thing might happen to you.

So glad you posted Marc Brown's collection of books for children. They are a favorite with my grandchildren and they have learned many good lessons from reading them.
A book similar to this helped me potty train my son many years ago. Thank you for this helpful teaching and enjoyable book.
Every kid loves Arthur books!
Another excellent children's book that teaches an important life lesson.
Sounds like a good lesson taught in a fun way. I should by a copy for my husband, as he has ripped his pants while at work on a couple different occasions.
