CPSC announces recall of Suntech Enterprises baby walkers due to fall hazard

Suntech Enterprises of Commerce, California, is recalling about 8,400 baby walkers.  The walkers fit through a doorway and do not have adequate stair-fall prevention to keep the baby from falling down the stairs. Serious injury or death could result is a child falls down a flight of stairs.

The walkers have a white activity tray and come in pink, blue and green.  They have Item number WK110 or WK112 printed on the side of the packaging. They were sold in the states of California, Illinois, New York and Texas at small juvenile product stores between January 2007 and December 2009. The walkers cost $25-$30.
