CPSC announces recall of Kiwi Industries' rompers and onesies

Holtrop & McIndoo LLC dba Kiwi Industries, of Albuquerque, N.M., is recalling about 450 infant rompers and onesies.  There is a risk that the snaps could detach, posing a choking hazard to children.

The clothing was sold in a variety of colors.  The rompers were available in sizes 0 to 3 months up to 18 to 24 months.  The onesies were sold in sizes 0 to 3 months up to 12 to 18 months.   The items retailed for between $24 and $28 and were sold at nationawide children's specialty stores between March and May of 2010.

Parents should stop using this product with their child immediately and contact Kiwi for instructions regarding how to return the clothing for an exchange.  If you think you have this product in your home, please read the entire Kiwi onesie and romper recall notice, which includes  pictures of each style.
