The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall alert of toy dart gun sets due to an aspiration hazard. Two deaths have already been reported.

The CPSC and Family Dollar Stores have issued the recall. The manufacturer of the sets, Henry Gordy International, Inc., of Plainfield, NJ has refused to recall the toy dart gun sets.

Approximately 1.8 million toy dart gun sets were sold exclusively at Family Dollar Stores from September 2005 through January 2009.

The Auto Fire set includes a toy gun, a dartboard, and darts. The guns have Item #P238 or Item #9328 printed on one side of the handle in raised lettering.

Consumers are urged to immediately discard the toys or to return them to a Family Dollar Store for a full refund.
