I had my first Guinness at the age of 16; my step dad thought it would be funny to watch me drink a stout brew. From the first touch of my lips it tasted cool, refreshing and as easy to drink as water. I have consumed many pints since that day and all along the way I discovered new ways to utilize it in the cooking process. You should taste my Guinness pancakes. Today I offer you the Chocolate Guinness, a drink I created in 2009. This drink is mostly for the girls, but I know some guys who would slam one of these down for dessert.
I am showing you photos of the pint and goblet size, they are both the same recipe.
Recipe: A Chocolate Guinness
In a pint glass or red wine goblet:
Drizzle the Chocolate Syrup around the inside
Then drop to the bottom of the glass
2T Chocolate Fudge
Add
1 shot Frangelico
¾ Glass full of Guinness
Top with
Whip Cream
Drizzle of Chocolate
And place on top
2 ea Chocolate sticks
Serve with straws and / or long spoon
I have had this drink made with Guinness cold and room temp and I prefer room temperature.
I dare you to try this one, you are going to like it.
