I got an email recently about this event and received an email back from Brandi Calhoun of Senator Muse’s office inquiring more information on this event. This Saturday Senator Anthony C. Muse (26th District) will be hosting the first annual Community Thanksgiving Prayer Breakfast. It will cost $35 for adults and $30 for senior citizens and children. This event will be hosted at the Colony South Hotel located on Surratts Road in Clinton, Maryland. Dr. Frank Reid of the Bethel AME Church will be a Speaker at this event. The Oxon Hill High School Gospel choir will also be performing at this event. There will be a basic breakfast buffet menu which includes items such as eggs, turkey bacon, pork sausage, and grits; with an option to upgrade and include Salmon available.
On Thanksgiving the Colony South Hotel will be having a dinner served in the Decoy Lounge. Children 5 and under eat free, children 6 and up eat for about $13.95, and adults eat for about $24.95. The Hotel is offering 10% off Thanksgiving dinner if you have booked a room. Seating will take place at noon and 3:30 pm. Carved Turkey, Sliced Ham, Beef Au Poivre, steamed Shrimp, and Vegetable Medley are a few of the menu items that will be served on Thanksgiving. Eat cheap, eat well, and enjoy the Holidays. Reservations are recommended for this event.
