Thinking about the many Hispanic Americans that have contributed to labor, innovation, Music and film; I observed Hispanic Heritage month this weekend by dining at Habanero's in Brown Deer, WI with my family. I enjoyed every minute of it, my son is learning Spanish in school, so he felt hesitant but excited to say a couple of phrases in Spanish. Of course the waiter laughed and attempted to help him out.
We all ordered different items so that we could sample. Chips and warm salsa are standard, but the great thing that sets Habanero's above the bar with La Perla and La Fuenta the typical Milwaukee Mexican eatery’s, is that an attendant comes table side with a cart and prepares the best guacamole, made to order right before your eyes.
On Saturdays from 11-3PM the lunch menu is offered. The chicken enchiladas were awesome; the enchilada sauce was rich but not heavy. The Grande burrito speaks for it’s self, both hands are needed and it pleased the most finicky eater at the table. The standard beans and rice made me want to dance to the Mexican music playing in the background. At 3:30PM on a Saturday afternoon, there is no waiting and customers started to trickle in about 4:30PM, so it is a great place for a weekend late lunch. Don’t forget the Blended Margaritas. Great job Habanero's.

Why is the restaurant called "haberno's" in the article? It should be "Habanero's."
Thanks Arjay, revised.
The man pictured above made my guacamole when I went and it was Delicious.
