In the last year or so, I was introduced to Sushi. When I would discuss sushi with friends, I vowed that I would never try raw fish. That same thought process is felt by many of my friends and fam
ily. One of my co-workers told me to just try it; you may find that you really like it. My first initiation was to try the basic California Roll and a wonderful treat Edamame. I was hooked. I am still a little uneasy about some of the more extreme varieties of sushi like; Ika, Masago or Tako. My favorites now are Spicy Tuna and Dragon Rolls and when I am dining at a Japanese restaurant, I never forget the Sake. I was so captivated by sushi, when I would purposely fly into Detroit Metropolitan Airport to stop at SORA to feed my sushi fix during the next leg of my travels.
Living on the north side of Milwaukee, sushi dining is very limited, when you think about cost first. When I really get a craving for sushi, I purchased it from my local grocery store that is still 10 minutes away. It’s actually a cheap eat, but they only create a limited packaged amount and place them in a refrigerated area, when the selections are gone, no more sushi. The best time to pick up your Sushi from Pick N’ Save would be in the mornings or afternoon for lunch. Ten pieces of Spicy tuna roll is $6.99, not bad. Please call ahead to make sure your favorite Pick N’ Save carries the fresh sushi.

Hello, fellow Examiner. Added you to my sidebar Lists and subscribed. Nice articles. :)
Hi, Kimberly... We were in Milwaukee for the weekend. On your advice (column of 08/25), we thought we'd try Egans on Water for Sunday Buffet Brunch. Couldn't get in before we would starve... so we ended up at George Webb greasy spoon diner on 3rd. Very satisfying, enjoyable. Good food. No complaints.
