Good news for Italophiles and anyone interested in wine and food. The second Italian Expo will be held on May 21 - 23 at the George R. Brown Convention Center. This a showcase of Italian food, wine, fashion, design, art, entertainment and tourism. The first event last September drew over 20,000 visitors, and a was a lot of fun. I dropped by each of the three days and still did not sample all of the wines, many of which were new to Houston and this country. There was more to see and do than just sample wine, too.
Mark you calendar since this event will be sure to present many excellent wines and food products, mostly cheeses. Spec's is a key sponsor again this year.
