“I’ve been disappointed in the past that FOTF is so rigid concerning women’s roles. It’s as If any wife and mother who has achievement needs outside the family is a Jezebel.”
– Denise Holmes, Red Hot Read, Parker Colorado.
“FOTF is one of the strong opinions I like to bounce my thoughts against to grow my own directions.”
-Chris Richards, Passing The Quill, Castle Rock, Colorado
Since 1977, Focus on the Family had been a strong supporter of marriage and the home. FOTF is not only a strong conservative force here in Colorado and the states but in: Africa, Australia, Canada, Latin America, Middle East, Indonesia, Ireland, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Taiwan.
In 2003, Dr. James Dobson stepped down as President. Jim Daly now serves as President and CEO. With the changing of the guard, FOTF is now presenting a gentler, more compassionate persona. The recent Tim Tebow Superbowl Commercial is a perfect example. Some complain it wasn’t hard hitting enough. Others see this as the new face of Focus. What do you think?

I set out to write an article similar to Denise's at Redhotread.com. But as I studied the new face of Focus, I began to have hope that Focus was shifting their rigid stance to a more compassionate one. I'm taking a wait and see approach.
