Flu prevention
• Wash your hands frequently
• Keep a distance from those with symptoms
• Eat a balanced diet
• Get plenty of Rest and exercise
• Take a good multivitamin
• Take immunity boosters: probiotics, Echinacea, Elderberry & vitamin C
Supplements to fight the flu
• Oscillococcinum – homeopathic remedy developed in France over 65 years ago. Taken at initial onset it will lessen flu’s severity.
• Vitamin D – if your system is deplete, it will lower your immunity.
• Umcka – (pelargonium sidoides) derived from the South African geranium plant. Taken at initial onset it will lessen flu’s severity.
• Astragalus – developed in China, it’s been in use for centuries. Also known to have mild anti-viral properties.

Elderberry--a much easier way to say "sambucus." Good info.
I'm not afraid of the flu. I am afraid of the vaccine. I posted an editorial on this on my Examiner site. I will be posting more because much more information has come to my attention since my first post. Scary stuff. It appears that mandatory vaccination is going to be enforced with a vaccine that has not been tested.

Tea tree oil is also a great disinfectant, antiviral, antibacterial and anti-fungal. You can put a few drops in a spray bottle with a natural cleaner for the house, a few drops in simmering water to disinfect the air, some in a gargle (don't swallow) for natural throat care and for many more uses. It won't build up an immunity either. Try a small amount to see how you do with it first. All the other tips are so important. Limiting sugar, caffeine and refined products is also helpful to build the immune system. Thanks for the great info!
