Biggest Loser became an experience that changed Julie's weight - and her life. She discusses both in a new book, appropriately titled Fat Chance: Losing the Weight, Gaining My Worth, in which she discusses her path to losing 45 percent of her weight. The result is a witty, insightful book that reveals both behind-the-scenes moments on the show as well as healthy recipes and sample workouts.
"People get a laugh out of the title of my book, Fat Chance," says Julie now. "Well, in the end I beat the odds. I traded my insecurity and low self worth for strength and empowerment and the life of my dreams."
