Decembr 23 - While Cher continues her $60 million gig in Las Vegas, she will be auctioning off her Hawaiian home located in the luxurious Hualalai Resort, a residential resort community located on the North Kona coast of the Big Island.

The 8,821-square-foot luxury residence was meticulously designed by Cher and just completed this month, as reported by Concierge Auctions in a December 22 press release.

Located at 72-122 Lau'eki Street, the property features a gated center courtyard leading to the main residence, which includes an expansive master suite, kitchen, dining room, outdoor "lanai" living area, and infinity pool with spa overlooking the Hualalai Golf Course and the Pacific Ocean.

The courtyard is flanked by five individual, detached bungalows - four bungalow living suites, three with one bedroom and one bath, and one with two bedrooms and two baths; and a media bungalow. The entire property is selling furnished, complete with custom artwork and accessories.

The auction will take place on January 18, 2010. The pre-sale estimate is $8 to $12 million, although before the economic downturn the home was worth over $20 million. Cher is currently starring in a three-year run of her Las Vegas show, Cher at The Colosseum, at Caesars Palace.

What a lovely piece Jackie. Happy holidays too! Congrats on all your great pieces in your first year. Let's hope 2010 can be
Thanks for the update Trina, nice article. Let's hope Cher and everyone else can avoid getting the H1N1 swine flu virus in 2010.
That applies to all of us - adults and kids alike. I wrote an article on how parents can help prevent their kids from getting the H1N1 swine flu illness in 2010 here:

Again, a great piece, Trina. Your article is a great change from the "scandalous" celebrity issues, although I did write a piece on which celebrity got the best and worst "buzz" in 2009. I wrote it here (hope you like and feel free to vote for whom YOU would have voted for)

What an awesome property! I, too, enjoyed this article, Trina, and you can read all about how Cher really should have been cast in the movie 'Nine' because she would have fit in so well at the premiere...

Just kidding... couldn't resist... color me playful... ;-)

    Happy New Year!
