Cameron Diaz to get star on Hollywood Walk of Fame; 2010 honorees Sandler, Crowe, Starr announced

Actress Cameron Diaz who stars in the upcoming drama My Sister's Keeper coming out on June 26 will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday, June 22 at 11:30 am. This is the 2,386th star to be dedicated on the Walk of Fame and will be located in front of the historic Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard. Nick Cassavetes who directed Diaz in My Sister's Keeper will be the guest speaker.

Diaz made her feature film debut in the 1994 comedy The Mask and received her first Golden Globe nomination in 1999 for her performance in the smash hit There's Something About Mary.

Meanwhile, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce just announced the 2010 recipients for the Walk of Fame. They include Russell Crowe, John Cusack, Adam Sandler, Jimmy Kimmel, Bill Maher, Bryan Adams, ZZ Top and Ringo Starr.

There are five categories that a recipient may be recognized in: Motion Pictures, Television, Radio, Recording or Live Theatre. A recent ceremony was held on June 8 for Kyra Sedgwick who received her star next to the star of her husband, Kevin Bacon.
