January 22 - It seems that Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have been seen showing up at numerous events in the Los Angeles area this past week. Paul McCartney was a presenter at the Golden Globe awards on Sunday, the third awards event he attended that weekend. On January 19, Ringo Starr was a special guest at the Grammy Museum in downtown Los Angeles performing in the "An Evening With" program series.

At the Grammy Museum which just celebrated its one-year anniversary, Executive Director Robert Santelli interviewed Ringo in front of an intimate group of 200 guests for about 30 minutes. Then, after answering some questions from the audience, Ringo Starr, along with Ben Harper and The Relentless7, performed two songs from his latest CD, Y Not, ("The Other Side of Liverpool" and "Walk With Me") as well as two old favorites ("Photograph" and "With a Little Help from My Friend").

Meanwhile, Paul McCartney appeared at three film awards events this past weekend attending with girlfriend, Nancy Shevell: the 15th Annual Critics Choice Movie Awards on Friday, Jan. 15; the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles 16th annual awards season tea party in Beverly Hills Saturday, Jan. 16; and the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Jan. 17. McCartney's song "(I Want To) Come Home" from the movie, Everybody's Fine, was nominated for a Golden Globe and a Critics Choice Award for Best Song in a Motion Picture.

Next weekend, Ringo Starr is scheduled to appear at the 2010 Grammy Awards which will be held at The Staples Center in LA on January 31.
