President Obama is on The View Thursday and taped the show Wednesday in New York City.
One of the hosts of The View, Joy Behar, was tweeting about the president today:
With President Obama in the Green Room at The View.
The President is here. Finally some good food in the Green Room.
I’m getting ready to interview President Obama. There’s so much security here at the View, you’d think Justin Bieber was back.
Herr Limbaugh says I will need knee pads when I interview President Obama. Please, the man is tall.
Behar later told CNN, ""He was a gentleman, very charming as usual. He seems at ease with whomever he is speaking to."
Obama gave up attending the Boy Scouts' Jamboree marking the group's 100th anniversary to tape his segment of The View. Reportedly he is sending his regards via a videotape and declined the invitation to appear in front of 45,000 boy scouts in Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia.
According to a press release distributed by ABC, President Obama will discuss his administration's accomplishments, jobs, the economy, the Gulf oil spill and family life inside the White House
The President last appeared on the show in March 2008 when he was still a Senator.
His wife, First Lady Michelle Obama was a guest co-host on The View in June 2008. Back in 2004, Barack Obama was a featured guest while promoting his book, Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance.
