Emeril Lagasse, “Mr. New Orleans” is coming to town to support his New Orleans Saints by throwing a big bash at Emeril’s Miami beach. Emeril announced today that there will be a two hour “Cooking with Emeril Tailgate Special” on Friday from 2-4pm. What a great way to kick off Super Bowl Weekend!

On Friday (2/5), Emeril will broadcast his “Cooking with Emeril” radio show live from Emeril’s Miami Beach ( 1601 Lincoln Road ).  Guests for the special “Super Bowl Tailgate Party” include Wayne Kostrowski (founder of Taste of the NFL) and Chef Mario Batali. Chef Greg Hardesty of Indianapolis’ Recess and Chef Allison Vines-Rushing of New Orleans’ MiLA will also stop by to share their favorite game day entertaining tips and tailgating recipes, and take calls from listeners nationwide.

Other special guests include gospel music stars Bebe and CeCe Wynans, who are headlining this year’s Super Bowl Gospel Celebration. Emeril will also welcome Chef Douglas Rodriguez, known as the creator of the Nuevo Latino Movement, to discuss Miami’s dynamic food scene and modern Cuban cuisine.

    Thank you for your many good shows and recipes. And I note that your new show will hit the aiways on 4/18/2010. I hope you remember that date is the 225th anniversary of "Paul Revere's Ride", quite possibly a most notable start of our march to Freedom !!
