“True Blood’s” Ryan Kwanten celebrated his 33rd birthday over the holiday weekend with a trip to Las Vegas.
Joined by a large group of friends, Kwanten, who plays Jason Stackhouse on the hit HBO series, kicked off his birthday celebration a bit early Friday night with a feast inside Tao at The Venetian. The birthday boy raved about the Lobster Wontons along with other specialties from the kitchen, and while it wasn’t his official birthday until midnight, Kwanten celebrated at dinner with a dessert platter and candles for blowing out.
Then on Saturday, Kwanten and his friends lunched at Dos Caminos inside The Palazzo before celebrating his official birthday with a party inside Lavo at The Palazzo. The famed Lavo Kobe Meatball was a big hit with the group during the official birthday dinner celebration, and Kwanten’s friends toasted the Aussie actor with Veuve Clicquot Champagne. After dinner, the party moved to a dance floor table inside Lavo’s nightclub where Kwanten was presented with (and surprised by) a large red birthday cake. As the wee hours of the morning approached and Kwanten’s birthday came to an end, the crew once again made their way over to Tao to hear DJ Vice spin.
