A royal visit: LeBron James spends the day at Tao

After partying inside Lavo at The Palazzo on Friday night, LeBron James continued his weekend-long Vegas celebration at The Venetian on Saturday, visiting Tao and Tao Beach.

King James arrived to cheers at Tao Beach and was joined in the grand cabana by a group of friends including new Miami Heat teammate Dwayne Wade and Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets. At one point the fans in the pool chanted his name and James pulled out his camera to capture the moment. Nearby, former NBA player Alan Henderson and Glen Davis from the Boston Celtics also took in the sun and the scene.

Later that night, James and nearly 30 of his friends (including Chris Paul) feasted at Tao on signature items including the Satay Bass, Lobster Wontons and Kobe Ribeye. Proving that he isn’t the most egotistical athlete around, James took time out from his dinner to greet fans, including a 5-year-old girl and her mother who came to Tao just for the chance of possibly meeting the NBA star. After dinner, James and his crew headed up to Tao’s club and commanded several tables on the dance floor where the cocktail waitress were dressed in Miami Heat jerseys to honor James’ new team. As they took in the sounds of DJ Vice, James was once again surprised by a cake from Gimme Some Sugar—this time in the shape of a king’s crown.

Considered to be one of the best restaurants in Las Vegas, Tao Asian Bistro blends great food, music and people-watching to create the hippest vibe dining in town. Frequented by celebrities on a regular basis, Tao features tasty Pan-Asian cuisine that’s coveted the world over. The restaurant is open Sun.-Thurs. from 5 p.m.-midnight and Fri.-Sat. from 5 p.m.-1 a.m. To check out the menu, simply click here, or to make a reservation, call 702-388-8338.

He said hi to that 5 year old girl, because the media is ripping him to shreds for being an Ego Maniac. He'll be back to his normal self and not signing autographs or saying hi soon.

We've already seen an uptick in buyer activity due to LeBron James pending relocation to Miami. Especially here in Miami Beach, this has been a much needed shot in the arm. This man is an economic and PR powerhouse!
