How does the family of recently deceased singer Michael Jackson get to and from Forest Lawn cemetery during funeral processions? In ultra-luxe and glamorous Rolls Royce Motorcars of course. The legendary pop singer was a client of Rolls Royce and the company and its affiliates have been more than gracious to allow the dead star's family to have use of their chauffeured vehicles (that's not an urban legend). The Rolls Royce dealership, seeking to capitalize on a bot of grass roots marketing Beverly Hills and Hollywood Elite promotion agreed to provide cars for the celebrity funeral VIP guests in exchange for having the opportunity to network with their existing and potential future clients behind the scenes at the somber yet star packed event.

ROLLS ROYCE CARS USED BY THE JACKSON FAMILY AT MICHAEL JACKSON PUBLIC FUNERAL: HISTORY OF THE CARS USED FOR TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE EVENT

At the original funeral, attended by so many fans and general public, Michael Jackson's gold casket was carried from the Staples Center by Lincoln Town Car Hearse to Forest Lawn Cemetery.

The body only remained at the location for a short time, then transported by medical examiners for autopsy at a variety of medical hospital room locations.

The Jackson family, led by famous abusive father Joe Jackson, followed behind the hearse in the procession chauffeured in borrowed Rolls Royce cars from the local area dealership where Jackson was rumored to have his own Rolls Royce limousine serviced.

Family members like sisters Janet Jackson and LaToya Jackson rode in the black Rolls Royce motorcars, as did friends like Don King (famous boxing promoter). Others rode in a fleet of black Range Rovers with tinted windows on loan from the same location.

For the burial [September 2009], reports of how the family arranged transportation to and from Forrest Lawn cemetery have been confirmed by TMZ as follows:

United Royal Coach confirms they'll be picking up immediate family members at the Jackson Encino compound this afternoon -- and will deliver 'em to Forest Lawn in five stretch Phantoms. We're told Katherine and Joe will ride in the first vehicle.

Since the family members are regular customers, they even got 'em at a reduced rate, which no doubt helped lower the already "extraordinary" burial costs.
