Ultra-luxury cars are unique in and of themselves. Mariah Carey decided that her car needed to be even more personalized to help with the launch of her new fragerance line.

So what did the pop music celebrity do? She had her face splashed all across the side of her custom Rolls Royce Phantom -- which certainly qualifies as strange fashion news.

[Rap musician and personal nemesis Eminem must be rolling laughing on the ground while Carey's new husband Nick Cannon must be swelling up with pride whenever he gets the opportunity to drive the super expensive "busting out" car while cruising around town.]

The Hollywood Examiner (the source who alerted us to the celebrity property photo) writes,

Living up to her 'diva' title, pop sensation Mariah Carey arrived to her "Forever" fragrance launch party in London on Thursday (November 19, 2009), in a custom Rolls Royce Phantom with her smiling photos plastered on its side.

Car guys are appalled to think such a classy vehicle could be made to look chintzy, but there is hope that the limited number chassis has not been damaged for good.

The picture looks as if the car has had a commercial wrap job*, meaning the images are simply a plastic advertisement splashed around the car. That means the damage -- er -- art -- uh -- aesthetically pleasing photos [yeah] are removable (not painted).

*However, they may be airbrushed on as well -- so if we find out, we'll let you know.

There is no word back from Rolls Royce Motorcars whether or not they endorse the celebrity's use of their formerly prestigious car in her advertising campaign (to date).

Check out the picture (above left) and sound off in the comments section below. Do you think the white Rolls Royce looks garrish (loud, awkward, and in poor taste) with her face displayed all over it's side or is it an ultra-luxe celebrity ride that any star would FOREVER be proud to own?
