ROBERT PATTINSON
Wildly coifed actor, model and musician Robert Thomas Pattinson was born on May 13th, 1986 in London England -- he is best known for his roles as Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter series and as “brooding-yet-dreamy” vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight films.
After first becoming involved with amateur stage productions at the Barnes Theatre Company, Robert was noticed by a casting agent during a production of Tess of the D'Urbervilles, and was soon doing professional theatre work. He also found modeling work at the age of twelve ... though it only lasted four years, because, according to Robert: "When I first started I was quite tall and looked like a girl, so I got lots of jobs, because it was during that period where the androgynous look was cool. Then, I guess, I became too much of a guy, so I never got any more jobs. I had the most unsuccessful modeling career."
In 2004, Robert had supporting roles in Vanity Fair (uncredited) and Ring of the Nibelungs. The following year, he was cast as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire -- in the wake of this, the Times Online christened him that year’s British Star of Tomorrow.
But the real casting coup was when Robert landed the role of Edward Cullen in the film version of Stephanie Meyer’s hugely successful vampire romance novel Twilight. The film, which had been turned down by nearly every studio in Hollywood, was one of the biggest hits of 2008, grossing over $350 million worldwide, and turning its stars (including Kristen Stewart) into overnight sensations. Robert is already working on two Twilight sequels, New Moon and Eclipse, to be shot back-to-back and released in November ‘09 and June ‘10.
Robert enjoys darts, cards, and pool. At one time he played guitar and keyboard in a band called Bad Girls. He claims that his acting inspiration is Jack Nicholson.

The film to be released in March isn't called Ashes, it's called Little Ashes.
He didn't appear in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoneix, his character was killed off in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

He DID appear in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in flashbacks. Therefore he is given credit as appearing in the movie. Watch the credits at the end and see IMDb.
Robert was being facetious in the interview where he said he likes darts, cards, and pool. He was responding to a press release that says he's athletic and good at sports(which he's not). Also, after a few amateur plays with the Barnes Theatre group, he was fired from the only professional theatre role he ever had. As for the group Bad Girls, he was only in it very briefly and is currently not involved in any band.

I'm a huge Robert fan. He is so cool. What I think the fans would like is a Robert fan e-mail to express how they see Robert Pattinson as an actor from there point of view.
I think people should just leave Robert alone.I mean the news cast is always trying to dish out anything they can about Robert& Kristens relationship. If they are in love and want to keep it to themselves then people should keep it at that and respect their desitions.
People should stop thinking about how hot he is and start looking at his acting. I they would pay attintion every once and a while they would notice how devoted & pationet he is about acting. How he truly gets lost in it as if it were part of his soul. I can tell how he trully conects with his acting& music. That's what I think the press should be writing about insted of his personal relationships.
