Former Vice President Al Gore appeared on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend to talk about the fight against global warming. As he pointed out, once a year it's "green week" and the networks invite him to appear on a show so they feel they are doing their bit to save the environment:
Once a year, during green week, NBC calls up Al Gore to come on TV and talk about the environment. Thanks, by the way. I can't tell you how exciting it is to have a bullypulpit on the fourth-place network."
But he has a plan:
I'm going to start acting crazy."
Tough to say what that might mean for a guy who is so stiff he's been mistaken for a cardboard cutout. But we love you, Al. Keep up the good fight.
