Ken Basin got oh-so-close to winning a million dollars. (ABC)
In a moment that was game show drama at it's best, "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" contestant Ken Basin got all the way to the million-dollar question:
For ordering his favorite beverages on demand, LBJ had four buttons installed in the Oval Office labled "coffee," "tea," "Coke" and what?
A. Fresca
B. V8
C. Yoo-hoo
D. A&W
Basin didn't know the answer, but he told Regis that he wasn't like other attorneys who don't like to take risks -- and he decided to risk the $500,000 he already had won by letting the audience vote and going with their answer, which was C. Yoo-hoo.
WRONG!
The correct answer was A. Fresca and Basin went home with $25,000 and egg on his face. (P.S. Yoo-hoo was a New York drink and unlikely to be favored by a Texan. We think the audience picked that one because they think of LBJ as a goofball and the name Yoo-hoo fits.)
