Update on Carrie Prejean sex tape: She denied it until they zoomed in on her face

By now most people who give a rat's derrière have heard by now that former Miss California USA Carrie Prejean dropped her religious discrimination lawsuit against the pageant when they showed her a copy of her hardcore sex tape. But that's not even the best part.

TMZ reports that the dethroned beauty queen's first statement after pageant lawyers clicked "play" was:

That's disgusting!"

She denied that it was her masturbating for the camera -- until it zoomed in on her face. Then her self-righteous act was useless. TMZ's source said it took less than 15 seconds for her to back off her demand that the pageant pay her more than a million dollars for dethroning her.

She had claimed they took away her crown because of religious discrimination over her anti-gay stance. The pageant had said she breached her contract by failing to fulfill her duties. Her naughty photos weren't enough to give her the boot, but her hard-core sex tape did the trick, so to speak.

Pop Quiz: How many commandments did Carrie Prejean break? (We're not Bible scholars, but we think she only broke the one about not bearing false witness. Or as most of us call it, lying.)

I sympathize with her, but only up to a point. She kind of walked into this mess. If you make a tape like that and then set yourself up as a paragon of traditional Christian values or whatever, you’re just begging for a smackdown.

Certainly when Ms. Prejean fantasized about herself wearing a crown, never in a million years did she imagine it would be a crown of thorns.

What you sow, so shall you reap, Carrie.

Karma's a bitch. Just like Carrie.

I wonder what Maggie Gallagher over at the National Organization for Marriage thinks about her poster-girl's foray into pornography?

But Maggie is probably too busy gearing up for her organization's upcoming ethics probe in the states of Maine & California for their illegal activities in stripping rights away from law-abiding citizens.

Ahhhhhhh, this just keeps gettin' betta.

Just to be pedantic: the commandment in question doesn't forbid all lies, just one particular, especially despicable kind: bearing false witness *against your your neighbor*. Prejean appears not to have broken this commandment, and that's likely the only nice thing I have to say about her.

We don't know what the thing amounts to yet.

Sex tapes are all over the place. They're fun, and within a proper relationship, can be quite exciting. But they tend to get leaked when someone is famous.

The issue here is how "improper" the relationship was, and that's for her to work out with God. It's none of our business.

In general, Christians consider sex before marriage wrong. But now, of the masses of people out there hacking away at her right now, how many do you suppose adhere to that? How many will contend that the only real wrong in this tape is that it was made with a boyfriend instead of a husband?

And the statistics of premarital chastity, even Christians's, don't suggest straight-laced morality.

I do not hear the voices attacking her attacking others living together without wedlock.

A sex tape is nothing wrong, in and of itself, if it's kept out of the wrong hands. This one wasn't, and it's not Carrie Prejean to blame for that.

You're mistaken. She did not lie about anyone else.

If you--the person who wrote this little quiz--can honestly say you never fib about things that are your own business and nobody else's, your thinly veiled sanctimony may be justified. But...

    I didn't think so...

    Doggone, forgot two things.

    1:
Remember Vanna White's lingerie spread in Playboy? MUCH more revealing than Carrie Prejean's pics. I don't recall her getting the wrong end of the opprobrium Prejean is getting.

    2:
"Marriage is the union between a man and
a woman. Now, for me as a Christian,
    it's also a sacred union."

Here's MY pop quiz: What famous person said that?
    ...
    ...

    Then-candidate Barack Hussein Obama
    Lake Forest, CA (CNN video)

(I put a URL to a nice video of him saying that on YouTube, but this board disallows URLs.)

Also, one of his appointees has expressed the same opnion--that right-wing fanatic who is his Secretary of State: Yes: Hillary Rodham Clinton.

When is Perez Hilton going to call President Obama a dumb son-of-a-bitch and a prick? Hmm...

I am so glad this loser's way-extended 15 minutes of fame are finally up. She is a disgrace - parading around in skimpy outfits with her fake boobs, proclaiming that her "Christian upbrining and values" make her the woman she is (a porno star, liar, and hypocrite) and making gay people feel even more crappy about themselves than society already makes them feel. Carrie, when you don't practice what you preach, it always comes back to bite you in the butt, and you have no one to blame but yourself.

I think this chick is goofy and I don't like her, but I also think she's in the right. The sex video was private, it wasn't done commercially and it wouldn't have been dug up if she wasn't suing the pageant for firing her over her moderate views on gay marriage. The bottom line is that the pageant could argue that her breach of contract was the video or the relatively harmless photos, but those things weren't responsible for her firing, they were found later to support it. There is a difference. They did fire her over her views. She should win the suit. She probably would if it wasn't for her embarrassment over what was pretty much blackmail on their part.

Always practice what you preach. Whether or not she made the sex video private or public she knows that she's a role model to the young people and every one is watching her. That's the sacrifice of when you want to be internationaly known. She was very RUDE and INAPPROPRIATE for talking to Larry king the way she did. Mr.King has been around for many years and she is no position to rudley speak to anyone after what was revealed about her. I don't know you Carrie neither do i care to ever know you, but I hope that book what you wrote, you read it for your knowledge because you need it the most. You are not humble, i suggest you go to the nearest bakery in your hometown and purchase your self a HUGE piece of HUMBLE PIE!!!!!!!!!

i think its ridiculous how the conservative right came to her aide when she was supposedly discriminated for her view against the gay community and yet now they are nowhere to be seen! They are a bunch of hypocrites!

I can't believe anyone is defending her. It wasn't even her "boyfriend". She sent the cell phone videos to a guy she hooked up with once, before they met.
