The expression in O.J. Simpson's 2007 mug shot says it all: "I got away with murder." But he didn't get away with kidnapping and armed robbery -- he's doing time at the Lovelock Correctional Center, in the middle of nowhere, between Reno and Winnemucca, Nevada. (He could be eligible for parole in 2013.)
It's been a good decade -- in a morbid sort of way -- for celebrity mug shots. Paris Hilton turned it into a photo shoot, posing perfectly before the police matron snapped her, but that's another story.

Some, like O.J., were chosen because they got away with murder, while others, like Phil Spector, were chosen because they didn't. Most of them were booked for crimes that involved getting bombed on alcohol or drugs, and their photos showed it. And though many of them are people we'd like to meet when they're sober, none of them look like people we'd take home to meet the folks.

O.J. Simpson was found innocent - - why does everyone want to keep saying he got away with murder. Anyone could have done the murder - - his wife and her friend were with a lot of weird people. As far as this other robbery charge goes, why did he get the toughest sentence - - remember you can't retry someone twice and he was found innocent, so leave him alone and he should get an appeal and let out of prison - - and what everyone is doing is ruining his relationship with his kids - - just let him out of jail.
Again, I say and believe O.J. Simpson is innocent, so don't throw him in jail for something else just to make up for not finding him guilty the firt time - - This is not right.
