James Joseph Cialella Jr. (left) shot a man who wouldn't stop talking
during "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" (right)
Most of us really hate it when people just won't shut up during a movie. Generally speaking, however, we try not to actually shoot them over it.
A noisy moviegoer in the Pennsport area of South Philadelphia wasn't so lucky. When he wouldn't shut up during a showing "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," James Joseph Cialella Jr. shot him with a .380-caliber handgun.
Seriously.
The Philadelphia Daily News reports that an unidentified 31-year-old victim told police he was watching a movie with his family when Cialella told them to be quiet and threw popcorn at the his son. He said they started yelling at each other, then Cialella got out of his seat , pulled a gun out of his waistband and shot him in the arm.
Ouch!
The shooter was arrested and charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, weapons offenses and related charges for the crime, according to the Daily News.
The victim remained in stable condition last night at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
Moral of the story: Ssssh!

There is a small part of me that wants to stand up and applaud. I know it's wrong. But something about it feels so right. It reminds me of the guy who got shot on the freeway in New York because he wouldn't turn down his car radio that was blasting so loud it vibrated other cars' rear view mirrors. Again, wrong. But again, feels so right.
dude its a movie get over it!!!!!!
