A radical Islamic group has targeted "South Park: creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone for violent retaliation because they depicted the prophet Mohammed in a bear suit on the show's 200th episode that aired on Comedy Central last week.
The Revolution Muslim website posted this warning:
We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show. This is not a threat, but a warning of the reality of what will likely happen to them.
Dutch filmmaker Theo Van Gogh -- the great grandson of artist Vincent Van Gogh's brother Theo -- was assassinated by a radical Muslim in 2004 because of his film, "Submission," which criticized the treatment of women in Islam.
Revolution Muslim posted a photo (see below) of Van Gogh lying on a sidewalk, stabbed to death, with the caption:
Theo Van Gogh: Have Matt Stone and Trey Parker forgotten this?"

Having said all that I would also like to add that I respect all religions and philosophies (as some people would rather follow certain philosophies and morals - religion, imho is like a set of these) I believe religion can actually help people with their lives, especially if they are facing problems. However, isnt killing an individual just because he/she chose to to express his or herself in a certain way, too much? Can an extremist muslim shine some light on this?
Americans are hated because of the injustices of our governent through time. Vietnam, Nicaragua and nuking japan to name a few. we are also loved because our false message of freedom to the world. I say false because we can't scream freedom with the blood our Governent has on their hands and be blind to other's pain. With all that said I still love America and dream of creating it more to the mold it represents. That means defending people who express points. But more important share info that gets minds thinking towards real solutions. The world may think it's all good here but we need major change. America needs to be the front runner in creating a world based on resources and not competition of the monetary system. We have more than enough to go around, but the lie of sceracity is a plauge in our minds. The world as a whole for humans is a mess because a few own it all. There is a point when tolerance is no longer an option, for blind leaders, miss guided groups and racists.
Put it this way, you would rather call an Islam extremist a savage for killing, but walk into a J.P Morgan building to conduct buisness. A man who had a chance to help a great scientist give America and the people of the world free energy but he chose to be greedy and put a meter on it. So now we have a handfull of little Jp Morgans who have this mindframe of control. There is no reason why every person in this world should not have free dental/health care. No reason why schools should be on a budget. No reason why there should not be a single homeless person on the streets. But in this way of life it's normal because we ecxept what is common to us. melissa I don't care to argue. I was just making a few of many points that leads us to thinking blindly that we are so good and they are so bad. Of course as a rational man I think killing in the name of god is dumb ass hell, but the symptoms of this hate do stem from the super powers and a few wacked militia having control of the resources through the failing monetary system. I think that people who really believe they are peaceful Muslims should take care of the religion they say they love and stand up way more than they have to these radicals. at the same time I believe that the flaw in all religion is the fact that people may feel they get a message from god but in reality is someone's agenda, you can tell this by the petty traits of jealousy and anger in these "gods", not sounding like a supreme being at all. If you allow a cartoon to bother you that much that you are going to kill, is a perfect example of lack of love that religion claims it's all about.
