"Project Runway" finalist Kenley Collins was arrested today for allegedly assaulting fiance Zak Penley — but she did it very creatively. The scrappy designer is accused of pelting him with their cat, then a computer, then three apples.
The New York Post reports that Kenley was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. We're not sure what the weapon was in this case, but of the five things she threw, we're thinking the cat was capable of doing the most damage.
Borrowing from the Lindsay Lohan code of ethics, Kenley told the Post:
"It was a miscommunication. Fights happen and that's that. There is no case."
The police beg to differ. They say she woke the poor guy up by throwing their cat in his face, followed by the laptop. Then he allegedly fell onto the floor and was crawling away when she slammed a door on his head. Then came the apples. And did we mention she also poured water on him?
So our man Zak did what anyone would do. He called 911. And according to TMZ, Kenley told her future ex-fiance:
You're lucky ... it could've been a lot worse."
Kenley was booked, thrown into the Brooklyn jail and released without bail.
Maybe she should have listened to Tim Gunn when he told her she needed to change her attitude.
