Hillary Duff on the January 2009 cover of Maxim
Hillary Duff wants the world to know two things: She is no longer a tween star and she never said she was a virgin. In her cover story interview for the January 2009 issue of Maxim (AKA the "Hot Young Hollywood" special issue), Hillary says her widely quoted 2006 viriginity statement in ELLE was a major misquote:
You know what? I was quoted saying I was a virgin, but I absolutely did not say that. That's nobody's business but my own. Somehow it turned into a bad thing!"
It worked out well for the men's magazine, though. They're calling Hillary a "suburban tween star gone sultry Hollywood goddess."
Goddess. That's good, right?
