"Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" and Will Ferrell's "Land of the Lost" top the list of Golden Raspberry Award contenders with seven nominations each. The "Razzies" celebrate Hollywood's worst each year, the day before the Oscars congratulate the best.
Ferrell, who plays has-been scientist Dr. Rick Marshall in "Land of the Lost" was nominated for worst actor and worst screen couple with "any co-star, creature or comic riff." Jorma Taccone was nominated for worst supporting actor, Brad Sieberlng got the worst director nod, and the film itself was nominated for worst picture, worst screenplay, and worst remake, rip-off or sequel.
Megan Fox was nominated for worst actress in "Transformers," slong with worst screen couple, an honor she shares with Shia LaBeouf. Julie White snagged a worst supporting actress nom, Michael Bay was nominated for worst director, and the movie itself scored the trifecta of worst picture, worst screenplay, and worst remake, rip-off or sequel.
This year, the Razzies also are honoring Hollywood's worst of the 21st century's first 10 years. "Battlefield Earth", "Freddy Got Fingered," "Gigli," "I Know Who Killed Me" and "Swept Away" are vying for worst picture of the decade. Ben Affleck, Eddie Murphy, Mike Myers, Rob Schneider and John Travolta are nomated for worst actor of the decade, while Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Jennifer Lopez and Madonna are up for worst actress.
The 2010 Razzie awards ceremony is March 6, the day before the Oscars. Worst actress nominee Sandra Bullock said she definitely will accept the award in person if she wins.
