Ashton Kutcher was among the first Hollywood stars to post messages about "Just Married" co-star and former girlfriend Brittany Murphy after her death on Sunday.
2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany's family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon. ... see you on the other side kid."

Kutcher and Murphy remained friends after the breakup, despite her disparaging remarks about his manhood after he got together with Demi Moore. Still raw from the split, Murphy told David Letterman:
I suppose the crux of their relationship basically means to him that age doesn't matter and to her that size doesn't matter."
She later backtracked:
Kidding, I'm just kidding, he was always a huge Bruce Willis fan. Oh Lord yes, of course I'm teasing. ... They're great and he's great. Just not for me. I'm sorry."

i loved brittany murphy- she was such a free spirit and her personality shined through the big screen- life is just so peculiar and fragile- i cant understand how someone this lovely could die so young.....
