Jerry Seinfeld and wife Jessica at the Vanity Fair Oscar party
They're not calling it "The Bickersons," but that's what Jerry Seinfeld's new NBC reality series is about. Tentatively tagged "The Marriage Ref," the show will pit arguing couples against each other.
Celebrities, comedians and athletes will judge the couples and recommend solutions to their disputes, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
But this is no Dr. Phil, how's-that-working-for-you show. It's meant to be funny, not helpful. Jerry says:
This is not a therapy show, it's a comedy show. After nine years of marriage, I have discovered that the comedic potential of this subject is quite rich."
We loved "Seinfeld," so we're hoping for the best. Or the worst. Whichever's funnier.
